Costa Rica Night--Fun Time!

Spanish Club President Christina Richardson presents a plant to Pastor Katie Mapes to thank her for sharing her knowledge and her time with us.

The Spanish Club hosted Costa Rica Night at the high school on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.  The guest speaker was Pastor Katie Mapes, who recently traveled to Costa Rica on a mission trip.  She shared a PowerPoint presentation about Costa Rican culture and her experiences abroad.  Afterwards, Señora Albrecht served samples of Costa Rican food--Gallo Pinto, Sopa de Frijoles Negros, and Arroz con Leche. If any community members would like to share similar experiences with us, please contact Señora Albrecht.
