Great coaches are innovative.
Great athletes require innovation.
It takes developing new and different techniques to temper the
effectiveness of a sport’s finest athletes. Playing the Hall
volleyball team this fall required such adjustment. Opponents
needed special strategy because of one uniquely talented athlete
the Red Devils possessed.
Kendall Rush. Rush, at 5-foot-7 and 120 pounds, is small for a
big-hitting volleyball player. But she packs a wallop when she
winds up that right arm.
Rush a fourth time this fall required Puck to become inventive.
