REGISTRATION INFORMATION GUIDE, 2010-2011
REGISTRATION DATES AND TIMES
Monday, August 9- Physical Exams- 9:00 am to Noon.
(The sports physical exam is NOT acceptable for registration of an incoming freshmen or a new transfer student.)
Wednesday, August 11 New/Transfer Students, Grades 9-12

Registration fee: $100
User / Activity fee: $20
The user/activity fee includes all lab fees as well as
free admission to all Hall High School home
athletic events. (excluding IHSA tournament
games)
1. P.E. Lock $5 Lock must be purchased from Hall High School.
This lock is for the P.E. lock. If you have a lock
from previous years, you may use that lock, but you
must bring it with you to registration so it can be
recorded.
2. Car Registration $1 All students who bring a car to school will have to
register the car. If you have already registered for
previous years, you will need to register again and
pick up a new sticker.
3. Drivers Education $75 and an ADDITIONAL $20 made payable to the
Secretary of State.
4. Athletic User Fees $50 per participant
($50 per athlete per sport, limit 2 season fees per student,
limit $200 per family) (Example: a single athlete could pay
at most only $100 regardless if playing two or three sports.
A family could pay at most $200 regardless of number of
seasons children participate.
Students qualifying for Free and/or Reduced Lunch receive
a waiver for these fees and are exempt from payment. All
necessary forms for Free and/or Reduced Lunch can be
obtained in the District Office.
Registration Information Form. ALL FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED BY ALL STUDENTS.
Completed Health Form signed by a Physician with their immunization dates completed. A physical exam with up-to-date required immunizations IS REQUIRED IN ORDER FOR ANY STUDENT ENTERING 9TH GRADE. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER WITHOUT A 9TH GRADE PHYSICAL EXAM/ and CURRENT IMMUNIZATION RECORDS. The sports physical is not acceptable for the incoming Freshman physical, but the 9th grade physical is acceptable for the sports physical.
Physical exams for both 9th grade enrollment and athletic participation will be given at HHS on August 6th from 8:00 am to noon.
Immunizations available at the Bureau County Health Department in Princeton. Make an appointment by calling 815-872-5091.
Certified copy of their Birth Certificate from the County in which you were born. Please do not bring the hospital birth certificate as it will not be accepted.
Affidavit of Residency. Please complete this form in its entirety. Form is included for Freshman students only. New and Transfer students must complete form at registration. Form MUST be signed in the presence of a Notary Public.
Registration will be held inside the school building. Students will be directed through the registration stages. Students MUST REGISTER DURING THEIR SCHEDULED TIME on the appropriate day.
A Hall High School physical education uniform and lock ARE REQUIRED. All students enrolled in physical education MUST have their own uniform and lock. The uniform must meet the following criteria –Hall Gray Physical Education Shirt with Sleeves and red shorts. Students WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SHARE UNIFORMS. The uniform must be purchased separately from the fees and can be obtained from local Spring Valley merchants.
School supplies and individual fees. There is no current list of specific school supplies needed prior to the start of school. If a particular curricula area needs supplies (Art, Foods, etc.) then those supplies and/or fees will be addressed and assessed the first week of school by the individual instructor.
