Foreign Language Fair- French Style

"Paris" was the theme for this year's French Club program at the
Foreign Language Fair. The gym lobby was decorated with a sparkling
Eiffel Tower, a replica of Notre Dame Cathedral, and monuments from
Paris. Paintings of French buildings covered the glass trophy cases
so visitors felt as if they truly were walking the streets of
Paris.
All of the French students participated in the fair. Displays
included a flower stand, a souvenir shop, French birthdays, French
tattoos, French names, and an April Fish Toss. In addition, there
was a special video presentation on the Easter, 2008 Paris/Nice
trip.
For the entertainment portion of the event, Nikki Rybarczak
performed a ballet, Jenna Sobin played her violin, French I sang a
popular French folksong, and French IV performed a comical
skit.
