The smooth, consistent swing by Hall junior Nick Rounds led him to the Class 1A IHSA Boys State Golf Tournament and 2008 NewsTribune Boys Golfer of the Year honors.

He beat most of them.

Then at the end of the season, he did better than any of them.

Rounds placed 46th at the IHSA Class 1A Boys Golf State Meet with a 36-hole score of 162 strokes.
