Board of Education Meeting Summary
August 15, 2007
Members Present: John Andes, Jack Boroski, Todd Fanning, Holly Flanagan, Sue Nolasco, Dale Pienta, and Betsy Resetich.
The Board of Education welcomed new employees Julie Colby and Joe Panzica.
Principal Patti Lunn reported “Back to School” information to
the Board.
Action Items-
Approved the public posting of the FY08 budget.
Approved Budget Hearing for September 19, 2007.
Approved the increase of Theresa Bernabei from part-time to fulltime guidance counselor
Approved Application to the Illinois Finance Authority Local School District Notes Program.
Approved 2008 graduation date as May 17, 2008.
Approved Devilette school trip to Florida.
Hired the following coaches: Freshman volleyball-Julie
Sherbeyn
Volunteer volleyball assistant- Laurie Polte
Volunteer soccer head coach- Josef Vasquez
Golf coach- Craig McConville
Approved facility use request by Spring Valley Youth Football
League for
September 2nd and 30th.
